New industrial development at Kingston Park, Peterborough
Posted: 12/06/2015
The scheme, which totals 14.5 acres (6 hectares), adjoins the Amazon, Willis & Gambier and Debenhams distribution warehouses at Kingston Park and is highly visible and easily accessed from the Frank Perkins Parkway System (Peterborough Ring Road) and Stanground bypass.
With construction due to commence in Autumn 2014, the site will offer freehold plots ranging from 0.34 acres (0.14 hectares) up to 5 acres (2 hectares) for industrial, warehouse, trade counter or showroom uses with design and build packages available for units ranging from 2,000 sq ft (186 sq m) to 50,000 sq ft (4,645 sq m).
Rob Facer, managing director of R&H Developments, comments: “The site will offer bespoke industrial/warehouse accommodation to a range of users and provides good access and prominence which will hopefully be desirable to the market. There is currently a shortage of industrial space in Peterborough which contains a good level of external yard and this is something that we can offer here.”
Paul Farrow, director at Savills Peterborough which has been appointed as letting agent for the new commercial development, adds: “We are delighted that this prominent site will shortly be developed and we are confident that there will be a great deal of interest in the scheme.”
