Queensgate currently forms our city centre shopping centrepiece with over 90 stores including John Lewis, Topshop, Superdry, Pandora, Fat Face, Office, Monsoon, Marks and Spencer, Next and Primark.
Our beautiful pedestrianised Cathedral Square with its piazza-style culture is right next door and is home to more high street names and smaller independent retailers offering an eclectic mix of products. A growing number of popular restaurants line the square and its approaches, benefitting greatly from the regular continental and farmers’ markets and events that take place there.
We have a large covered City Market adding to the colour and variety of our retail offer as well as other large retail parks close by.
Peterborough Garden Park was recently voted the best out of town retail development by the British Council of Shopping Centres. It’s home to Van Hage, Le Creuset, Cotswold Outdoor and more, and exciting new expansion plans are underway.
On the other side of the city and close to popular housing developments is Serpentine Green which incorporates a 90,000 sq. ft. Tesco, H&M, Dobbies Garden Centre, Early Learning Centre, Mothercare, River Island and a range of food outlets.
A new £25m shopping experience at Brotherhood Shopping Park has also recently opened – with M&S, H&M, Next, Outfit, Hobbycraft., Costa, TK Maxx, Asda Living and more.
