Opportunity Peterborough has moved its offices to Peterborough’s brand new Future Business Centre at the ABAX Stadium on London Road. The economic development company, which supports local businesses, attracts inward investment and leads the Skills Service and Future Cities programmes, will now operate from the new business facility whilst continuing to manage the Eco Innovation Centre on City Road.

The Future Business Centre opened in July and is operated by Allia, a charity that helps innovative social and environmental ventures start-up and grow. The centre provides shared office space, business incubation and conferencing facilities and further strengthens the city’s growing offer to support the hundreds of new businesses that are setting up in Peterborough each year.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, Opportunity Peterborough began life as an urban regeneration company but in 2010 took on responsibility for leading and delivering the city’s economic development agenda – driving growth, creating jobs, and fuelling economic ambition in the city.
